There are genuine bad actors in the US who wish to do harm to their political opponents and/or wish to do harm to this country, so we always have to be vigilant as to how things are spun and for what narrative. Republicans, Democrats, Trump-supporters, etc. If someone is trying to make Sec. of Def Austin look bad and lying to the press, they are most likely a political opponent and they don't actually care about the damage they cause
