  1. Reminds me of Henry Molaison, the guy who had surgery in 1953 to fix his epilepsy. It worked, but it also gave him extreme amnesia where he could only remember for 12 hours before forgetting the last 12 hours. He lived for 55 years, still thinking it was 1953. He died in 2008.
