  1. It's true. We're still divided about government to this day and after the Vietnam War, most Americans don't trust the federal government.

  2. Geoff Nattrass I highly disagree. The USA led the world for a long time and in many ways it still does. The Constitution did and still does set up a base for government, but ultimately, the government can go any which way. Were the founding fathers all great men? No. Do some of them deserve the pedestal they were put on? Definitely. It was the founding fathers different views and ability to compromise that made the Constitution as great as it is.
