  3.  @DragonBall-rd5me  It's illegal to smoke weed in the US according to federal law, but not in the states of Colorado, Washington, Alaska, Oregon, California, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, Michigan, Vermont, Illinois, Arizona, Montana, New Jersey, South Dakota, New York, Virginia, New Mexico, Connecticut and Washington DC. Meaning that if you get caught by a federal agent, you can still be arrested. Machine guns and tanks are also federally illegal, but legal in certain states. In California, anyone working for the state (politicians, police officers, etc.) can face jail time if they report illegal immigrants to the federal government.
