@Centrodemasa According to the definition of "Hypersonic", all ballistic missiles are hypersonic. THAAD is designed to intercept high-altitude ICBMs. ICBMs are launched high into the atmosphere, near the edge of space, before coming down onto the target.
What Russia (and China) claim to have created are Hypersonic Glide Vehicles. The Kinzhal ("Dagger") is supposed to be one. The maneuverability of a Hypersonic Glide Vehicle is to allow it to maneuver between radar stations and make it's path more unpredictable so that it is harder to intercept. Air Defenses Systems like the S-400, the Patriot, IRIS-T, etc. all intercept missiles by calculating where the target missile will be by the time it's interceptor missile gets there. Hypersonic Glide Vehicles are not impossible to shoot down, but they're supposed to be very difficult. For example, if we are facing each other and I throw a ball at you, will you catch it? Most likely. If you launch a Kinzhal directly at the Patriot, it will most likely intercept it. That's just making the Patriot's job easier. Hypersonic Glide Vehicles are not impossible to shoot down.

@Andy-kl1ry Like I said before, all ballistic missiles are hypersonic. Hypersonic is defined as "greater than Mach 5 or 5 times the speed of sound". The Scud Ballistic Missile (aka "R-11" and "R-17") fly at Mach 5. The Patriot ADS shot down 40 Scud Ballistic Missiles in the 1991 Gulf War. The American ICBM, the "Minuteman II", flies at the speed of Mach 23. The submarine-launched ICBM, "Trident", flies at the speed of Mach 19. Hypersonic missiles are nearly 40 years old at this point and intercepting them is not an issue, especially when they are flying towards the Air Defense Battery. The THAAD has successfully intercepted 7 ballistic missile test targets between October 4, 2011 and August 30, 2019 according to the CSIS Missile Defense Project.
What Russia claims to have is a Hypersonic Glide Vehicle and they call it "Kinzhal" ("Dagger"). However, if you fire it directly at the Patriot (or any Air Defense System), it is significantly easier to intercept.
