"Winning" is political term. It's meaning changes depending on who you ask. The question is: "Who is achieving their objectives?"

The American M2 Browning is a .50 cal (12.7mm) heavy machine gun. It is the most prolific heavy machine gun in Western militaries and popular with many other militaries around the globe. It was first designed in 1921 and first adopted for service with the US Army in 1933. The age of a weapon design does not matter as much as people think it does.

God Bless Ukraine's Quartermasters, Mechanics and other logistics personnel! Please don't go insane with all the different weapons and vehicles!

"Amateurs study tactics; professionals study logistics." - General Omar Bradley Half the battle is getting there and being able maintain, repair and fuel your forces. What use is an army of soldiers, if they don't they have the food, ammo, spare parts and equipment they need to be effective?
12
The US has been sending equipment since 2014.

I have some theories and knowledge: 1) NATO has to coordinate across multiple nations 2) NATO has to transport by land using civilian roads and such instead of by ship 3) NATO has heavier equipment like tanks and such 4) Over the course of the whole Falklands War, the British transported a total of about 9,000 personnel. NATO has to transport 10,000. While it had taken the Royal Navy only a few days to reach the Falklands, British Special Forces with 100-200 soldiers at most didn't start attacks and raids until nearly 2 weeks after Argentina had invaded. The first land battles where at the end of May when the bulk of British forces had reached the Falklands, which was nearly 2 months after the Argentines had invaded on April 2nd

"We must become the Arsenal of Democracy." - President FDR, 1940
6
@ChemicalShots Who holds the record?
4
@eioclementi1355 'The United States is a country of machines. Without the use of these machines through Lend-Lease, we would lose this war. ' —Josef Stalin
4
As FDR said, we will be the Arsenal of Democracy! 🇺🇸💪

Personally, I think the A-10 would be perfect for Ukraine. They were designed to fight in Soviet era and they've been recently modified for more multi-purpose warfare. They're cheap, durable, rugged and the US Air Force wants to retire them.
4
What ground have they lost? Ukraine still holds Bakhmut, Adiivka and Mariinka
4
Those camo patterns and helmets are not American. Just the weapons
4
I love seeing the American Javelin and the American M2 Browning! Anything to help our allies!
3
@eioclementi1355 "People say that the allies didn't help us. But it cannot be denied that the Americans sent us materiel without which we could not have formed our reserves or continued the war. The Americans provided vital explosives and gunpowder. And how much steel! Could we really have set up the production of our tanks without American steel?" -Georgy Zhukov, 1950

Turkey has plans to give the F-35 to Russia and North Korea which is why the US will not give it to them. If Turkey will buy the Russian S400 and attack US bases, then there is no reason to not believe they wouldn't give the F-35 or even nuclear weapons to the USA's enemies. It's only a matter of time before they're kicked out of NATO and barred from the EU forever. If you want friends, don't betray them.
3
Lmao that's funny. Russian and Ukrainian helicopters continue to fly in the war. Plus, these don't fire dumb, unguided rockets. These fire new missiles
3
When?
3
Nobody wants the A-10 and the RAF have the Eurofighter
3
Kornet is a different type of weapon
3
@pianiykeks6423 My favorite part was when the Russians purposely sank their own warship in the Black Sea. All according to plan, right?
3
When will Russia grow some balls and actually start launching missiles? Never. They are cowards. They bombs hospitals in Syria while pretending to "scare" NATO
3
Loose Lips Sink Ships! "I hate newspapermen. I regard them as spies, which, in truth, they are." General William Sherman

Russian Propaganda
2
@eioclementi1355 Your argument was that the USA didn't do anything in WWII, that the Soviet Union won WWII alone and the USA can't win wars. But not even Stalin or Zhukov believed that
2
This makes zero sense
2
While I could be wrong, I'm pretty confident the Russian military is over hyped. They've been striking ground targets with S-300 missiles. There were plenty of signs before this conflict that the Russian military is over hyped. In 2008, the Russian military looked awful. All it got was a new paint job, but the core is still rotten
2
It's cutout for the eyepiece gunners normally wear
2
Yes, probably lmao
2
Most of it is standard because about 30 if those countries sending aid are in NATO. STANAG is NATO's program for standardization, requiring all member militaries to use the same ammunition, railway gauges, tools, measurements, etc. Everything Ukraine will be getting will be former Soviet equipment (which they already have) or it will be NATO equipment. Lots of the old equipment/vehicles/etc. being sent are only old because they were from the Soviet Union, which is not an issue since both Russia and Ukraine use old Soviet stuff. Lots of other things are only older because of the expiration date, like on rocket launchers. Things like the M777 Howitzers are not old and they are still being bought and produced for the US military.

Badass! I bet the Alaska National Guard do the same thing!
1
@Bullet-Tooth-Tony- The Americans killed Pickett. He thought the Americans were dumb savages after beating Napoleon's armies in Spain. That didn't stop American grapeshot from ripping through his spine!
1
@Bullet-Tooth-Tony- We get it. You hate the USA. Stop spreading lies
1
Volksturm?
1
Russia can't even destroy Ukrainian air defenses! Russia is a joke! And you're a clown!
1
Who owns Kherson and Izyum?
1
Tell Putin to win the war already. Why hasn't Russia won the war already?
1
President Putin told them to attack Ukraine. So of course, the pilots do as they're told. But President Putin didn't say the pilots had to bomb Ukraine soldiers. He didn't even say the pilots had to fire accurately.

@eioclementi1355 USA: back to back World War Champions

Russian bot

@420kushmaster He clearly knows more than you
1
Russia would not have won WWII without Ukraine, Poland, or the Western Allies
1
Moni Penny France and Germany would trade with the Devil himself because they're cowards

@Imprudentman Don't you get tired of Russian lies and hypocrisy? "Soon Ukraine, the world's largest grain producer, will not be able to make bread". You're a clown 🤡
1
There's always been foreign troops on US soil. The Saudi Arabia a train in Florida. Germany had an airbase in Arizona until a couple of years ago

Why?

@pauldean8638 Missiles and Rockets are not the same. Rockets are unguided. Missiles are guided. The Kornet is a type called Anti Tank Guided Missile or ATGM. It requires a tripod to be fired and weighs about 64 kg. It has a range of 5,500+ meters (depending on the variant). The missile it fires is guided to its target by a laser projected from the battery pack attached to the tripod. Kornet is the best for mounting on vehicles or being given to dedicated anti-tank teams. The RPG-7 is a Man-Portable Rocket Launcher. It weighs just 6.4 kg and does not require a tripod or anything to be fired. It has a maximum range of 700 meters. The rocket it fires is unguided. There is no laser like on the Kornet. The RPG is the best for any soldier, who might need to take out a tank in an emergency, since it's so light and simple. Most armies use both the Kornet and the RPG since they are different classes of weapon, used in different situations.
