  1. Reading some of these comments, I think it's dangerous to underestimate any opponent, especially when it comes to something as serious and deadly as war. Of course, the Russian military did not prove to be as... potent as many had thought and feared, but it's better to find out during the conflict that your opponent is weaker than you rather than just assuming so. Chinese fighter jets seem to be well-designed and on par with many Western jets. Even if they're slightly less capable than Western fighter aircraft, sufficient numbers may still be enough to keep up with their Western counterparts. I was China, I would not underestimate the US Air Force and if I was the USA, I would not underestimate the Chinese Air Force

  3.  FD&BJ  Ukrainian soldiers were rotated regularly on the frontline in the Donbas from 2014 to 2021. They also trained regularly with the USA and other NATO countries. Ukraine was not inexperienced.
