@ertramontana In current American dialogue, the French have an overwhelming stereotype of always surrendering. The stereotype is slowly dying, but I think it started during WWII and then flared up again when the French refused to partake in the Invasion of Iraq. It didn't help that they openly insulted the USA for it. The USA and France have a long storied history together, but even in schools, it's glossed over and generally forgotten about by the public.

@ertramontana Fair enough. I'm glad they're trying to dispell the stereotype though and give the French their proper credit!
