  2.  @MarshallJukov  NATO's sole purpose of existence was to protect Western Europe from the USSR. As soon as Ukraine made moves to join the EU and NATO, what did Russia do? Invade Ukraine. NATO protects Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Georgia from Russian invasion. That is the purpose of NATO. What is the purpose of CSTO?
