  1. Russia seems to me, to be not a bear, but a cub playing in the shadow of the USSR! I can't believe the world's "2nd most powerful" military behaves so unprofessionally and is struggling just to supply it's own soldiers! Russian soldiers don't even seem to know their orders half the time. Supply convoys are left unguarded and the Russian Air Force has failed to neutralize Ukrainian air defenses

  5. The USA hit all vital communications, bridges, assembly points, garrisons, radars, air bases, air defenses, etc. Russia has failed to do any of this. I know that Russia does not have as many precision weapons as the USA, but I'm surprised by their seemingly quick switch to just blindly shelling civilian areas. The US made mistakes and killed civilians, but these were mistakes. I don't recall any incidents of just blindly bombing civilian areas with unguided rockets or artillery. I think the US went into Iraq with a good plan. It only fell apart once the insurgency started. The Russians don't seem to have had a plan at all

  6. The goal of Shock and Awe isn't to kill as many civilians as possible, it's to overwhelm the enemy and prevent them from organizing a defense
