  2. NATO and the USA, in particular, did help Ukraine after 2014. American and British soldiers traveled to Ukraine to train Ukrainian soldiers. American Humvees and counter-battery radars were given to Ukraine. It just wasn't a flood of help. I think it was a definite fear of escalation, but also the fact that Ukraine does suffer from corruption. The War in the Donbas after 2014 was very much a low-intensity conflict so there's a greater risk that someone in the logistical chain will try to make money by skimming aid, ammunition or weapons to sell on the black market. However, now the war is much more urgent, and while corruption is still much of an issue, the Ukrainian military command, politicians and soldiers will be much more keen to see delivered weapons and supplies reach their destination. That's my opinion and speculation.

  3. As an American, I can definitely detect a bit of a Southern twang in the General's accent. However, I cannot place Jake Broe's accent, or rather his speech-pattern. It seems pretty unique! Hello, across the Pond!
