  2. But if I (a US citizen) went to Canada, France, Germany, Cuba, or literally any other country in the world, I would be deported immediately or thrown in prison. You can't live in other countries without a work visa, refugee status or citizenship. People vacation in the USA and other parts of the world all the time, sure. But I don't understand how you can have family in two countries without dual citizenship. And people will do anything, anything to protect non-citizens. I just don't get it.
