They're conservatives and traditionalists. They're no different than the Boy Scouts, militias or some of the groups you can join here in the U.S. As they said, 'As long as there are Brits in Ireland, there will always be a minority that opposes them.' The fact that they recognize that they're the minority means that they don't think they need to act in violence to reach they're goal. They know that most Irish don't agree with their ideals and all they can do is to try a preserve their traditions and raise awareness. The people and land of Ireland is what they're devoted to. So, I think they're not terrorists or criminals, just young adults and kids who have joined a tradition and a group with history.

@jordanelder321 Yeah, the history of Northern Ireland is that was colonized by British and Scottish settlers. That's why they're Protestants. That's why many are called Ulster Scots. That's why many of them don't speak Irish. That's why they don't have an official flag. Wales and Scotland are described as countries part of the United Kingdom. Northern Ireland isn't a country. It's most often described as a province or region because it was created by British Colonists.
