America was founded on distrust of government when it rebelled against the British. It's in American DNA. Even George Washington and Abraham Lincoln had to put down rebellions against the US government

Ralph Anderson Actually I have fun manipulating people's emotions on the internet. I think the term is "trolling"

Western Europeans and East Asians read American comic books and watch American superhero movies thinking: "So glad we don't live in a world like that!" Americans think: "We wish we had Superheroes like that!"

@originalunoriginal4055 Look up the American Revolution. That is the distrust of government. American settlers forced Native Americans off their land even though the British (and later) American government made it illegal. Look up the Whiskey Rebellion. American settlers shot at and tried to kill George Washington for taxing Whiskey. Americans have never trusted government. They killed Native Americans and black people when the US government told them not too.

@originalunoriginal4055 I took Advanced Placement US History in High School. Learn some actual history. Colonization was from 1600-1924. From 1600-1776, colonization was overseen by the British Empire. The Royal Proclamation of 1763 banned American settlers from taking Native land past the Appalachian Mountains. This was to avoid conflict with the Native Americans who lived there, and to avoid conflict with the French, who claimed the land all the way to the Mississippi River. American colonists broke the law and continued to take Native lands past the Appalachian Mountains.
