To be honest, its hard to tell who is killing who in war. With so many factions in Syria dropping bombs and firing artillery, its almost impossible to say who's responsible for each death. Even with the modern technology we have today, bombs land off target, artillery shells are inaccurate, intel can be wrong, bullets go astray. The worst part is all the factions. Most of the factions with soldiers on the ground don't even wear distinct uniforms. They look like regular civilians. Lots of friendly fire happens, especially between allied factions. Its hard to draw clear front lines. Reporting the conflict isn't easy either. Some factions spew propaganda about each other. Some factions cover up mistakes or lie about events. Other factions are full of corrupt and hate-filled people who kill indiscriminately, even if their faction has good intentions. People are not perfect. They make mistakes. The fact is that Syria is a shooting gallery and the civilians are in the cross fire.
