  19. 20 years ago, the Taliban were funded by the USA to fight the Soviet Union. Until this year, the Afghan Army was funded by the US and NATO. Now the Taliban claim that ISIS-K are funded by the USA. ISIS-K claim that the Taliban are not true Muslims, but Western puppets. Apparently the USA funds the world! Lmao

  22. Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa and Kiribati are all part of the Commonwealth of Nations. Niue and the Cook islands have pacts of Free Association with New Zealand. The Federated States of Micronesia have a Compact of Free Association with the USA. The only country that isn't associated with another country or part of a larger international economic organization is the country of Tonga. I don't think China has anything to offer for the rest to consider aligning themselves with Beijing. Tonga is the only one I could see China winning over.

  30. I don't think the US government wants to be partners with the Taliban, but if the Taliban can defeat the US, surely they can defeat ISIS-K? For the US, the Afghan Government is basically non-existent at this point. They have to choose between the Taliban governing Afghanistan or ISIS-K. As the saying goes "The enemy of my enemy, is my friend".
