I've said for a long time that if the USSR was the coffin that N*zis died in, the USA and UK were the nails in that coffin. N*zi Germany had no real chance to win WWII. The Siege of Leningrad was a symptom of Army Group North not having enough soldiers or equipment to storm the city outright. That siege started in the winter of 1941. That's 6 months after they invaded the USSR. If they were already having troop shortages so soon into their war, what chances would they have declaring war on another huge nation all the way across the Atlantic? But that's exactly what they did. As the Germany soldiers were being driven back from Moscow by 500,000 Soviet soldiers freshly arrived from Siberia, Germany declared war on the USA on December 11th. N*zis Germany had absolutely no chance of winning in WWII. Late 1941, early 1942 truly was the beginning of the end. It's just that nobody at that time new it.
