  3. At first I wasn't sure how the depoliticization of the Russian people connected to the authoritarian behavior of Putin, but when you connected the dots to manipulative behavior, it made sense. I wonder what it would be like to compare Putin to other authoritarian leaders like Hitler or Kim Jong Un. I think my personal opinion would be that Putin seems to be more interested in depoliticizing the Russian people. However, 1930's Germany and modern North Korea, I would argue that politicization of the people is the aim of those leaders. The political party and acceptance into the political party becomes central to participation in society. Very interesting. This video has given me a lot to think about! Very good job!
