As a 25 year old American from Wisconsin, I have yet to visit another country. In the summer, we usually go to northern Wisconsin or Michigan's Upper Peninsula for vacation. The Great Lakes are great for fishing, but the water is much too cold. The smaller lakes in northern Wisconsin are better because in the summer, if you go swimming in the afternoon or at night, the water is warm! Although this winter, my family is going down to Alabama for vacation because my parents own a place near the Gulf of Mexico.

As an American, I went to visit friends in Colorado once. They lived right on the edge of the Rocky mountains and the Great Plains. I thought it was incredible that we could see the mountains from their apartment, but they didn't think much of it. I guess, opinions change when grow up with it all the time. It was crazy to me. Everywhere you went in the city, you could see the mountains in the background. We have nothing like that where I'm from. It was so beautiful. I'm jealous of you.
