You're watching US news right now. Johnny works for Vox News which works with CNN frequently

You fell for the trap. The news does that. Makes you outraged and entrenched in hatred and anger

That really says a lot from someone like yourself. I love your content and you're very successful in what you do!

Most likely the news you watch is American. Johnny works for Vox, an American news site that is frequently featured in CNN (which is on American TV btw)

Sounds like something a bigot would say sarcasm

In the US, we have public media like Voice of America. It's state propaganda that supports whatever the US president is doing. It supported the war in Iraq, it supported Obama blowing up hospitals and putting kids in cages, it supports whatever lies Trump tells

Even American news Twitter accounts, American news websites, American journalism is all guilty

The news makes a profit off your emotions and often times is caught lying or fear mongering. Whether it's Fox News, CNN, or an independent Journalist. They all grab your attention by going after your emotions and they all look to profit. Fox News and CNN don't pander to Conservatives and Liberals by happenstance. They do so because they know it will make them money. And if you watch RussiaToday or CGTN, they give outrageous stories and opinions because they trying get you to buy into propaganda (I mean, most news is propaganda, but some more so than others). Another example is how Fox News ruthlessly defends Trump or CNN plugging Joe Biden even though Bernie Sanders was the most popular Democratic canidate for a long time. Or whether it's CNN calling the protests peaceful or Fox News only showing footage of riots and looting while ignoring the peaceful portions of the protest. The world and people are complex, but the news profits by convincing you that the world isn't. And because fear is so powerful, the news constantly focuses on negativity and depressing events or topics.
