  1. Plus France isn't conducting the same thing the U.S. is. The U.S. tore down the Afghani Government and rebuilt it from the ground up. France is supporting the Mali Government, which is still standing. France didn't train or supply the Mali military. If you notice Mali soldiers are using Ak-47 and BMPs were the French are using French built and designed vehicles. If you watch French combat footage, the French are not only supplied with radios and get an understanding of the situation faster and better, but the French engagments are over longer distances and are able to bring much more concentrated firepower on an area. If you think the French fight bad, then clearly you've never seen combat footage or have ever tried being a soldier.
