  1.  @Torian1o1  If we launch planes to shoot down Russian planes, Russia will shoot down our planes with ground-based anti-aircraft missiles. If we don't want our pilots dying needlessly, we would have to bomb those anti-aircraft missiles, which are based mostly in Belarus and Russia. That would 100% start a nuclear war.
