  2.  @jochentram9301  Yeah, but there has never been trial by combat in the US. Sorry I should've clarified what I was talking about. I was specifically talking about the USA in terms of trial by combat and duels.

  3. It would be not taken seriously, especially since it violates due process and cruel and unusual punishment. Duels were a real thing in the USA though for settling personal issues. I think they've mostly been outlawed by states and cities, but technically, I believe Seattle still has a dueling law that makes it legal

  4. I think the goal was to teach people about US law. Also, he's a modern lawyer, not a medieval lawyer

  6. IDK why, but the more of these lawyer videos I watch, the more I really appreciate the US constitution and rule of law
