@sr3093 They didn't hire contractors moron. The US Army Engineers built them, just like they build infrastructure here in the USA. We have very public (as well as private investigations) records that prove the US has spent $10 trillion outside any weapon purchases or cost for US troops. That money went directly into building up Afghanistan and Iraq. I suppose, some of it might have been pocketed by their governments, but much of it has been destroyed by the Taliban, ISIS and Al-Queida. The USA spent 6 years trying to build the Ring Road in Afghanistan. It was bombed by the Taliban and the engineers attacked. How did the Taliban do this? We know now that Russia, China, Iran and Pakistan all paid them to kill US soldiers and bomb Afghan civilians
