  1. I could be wrong, but my theory is that Belarus will invade Ukraine and try to annex the Volyn and Rivne Oblasts. Lutsk in Volyn has an important rail hub that connect Warsaw, Poland to Kyiv, Ukraine. Lutsk is also a very industrial city. Rivne has some important factories, but it also has the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant. President Lukashenko will claim that Lutsk is supplying Western weapons that are threatening Belarus. Cutting that railroad will be important to help weaken Ukraine and seizing Rivne Nuclear Power Plant will cut power to much of Western Ukraine. The population of both Oblasts is 95% Ukrainian, but there is nothing stopping Belarus and Russia from deporting any Ukrainians that don't flee, to Siberia. Russia has already done it to thousands of Ukrainians in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia
