  1. I've heard some people say that Ukraine will try to cross the Dnipro River and push towards Crimea, but the Dnipro is a huge river. It will not be easy to cross or supply forces on the other side. If locals took the flag down in Melitopol, there could be a lot of pro-Ukrainian militias and insurgents there. An offensive south from Zaporizhia to Melitopol would split Russian forces in half and allow Ukraine to strangely all Russian forces in the remainder of Kherson Oblast and Crimea since Russian forces would then only be able to supply their forces via the damaged Kerch Bridge. I think this would be the best option, but if the offensive is too slow, Russia could rush in soldiers to blunt the advance. This could however open up more opportunities then in Luhansk, although Russia has recently built lots of static defenses and bunkers in Luhansk. It's hard to predict the future, but I would say that Ukraine's next offensive will most likely be in Zaporizhia or Luhansk.
