They have already bought the Russian part of the Inditex Group business (it owns the brands Zara, Massimo Dutti and others). And now they want a piece of the sportswear and footwear market too. The Lebanese retailer has agreed to buy the Russian division of Adidas from the German owners. There are now a total of 120 stores of the German brand in the country. All of them have been closed since last spring. Retail outlets may open as early as November 1 this year. Recruitment will begin in the autumn.
