  4. Kvas is officially a non-alcoholic drink, but by law it may contain some alcohol: it is almost inevitable in fermented drinks. The upper limit of the norm is up to 1.2% alcohol, but manufacturers never come close to this value. For example, the strength of the most popular in Russia "Ochakovsky" kvas does not exceed 0.5%. But there are technologies of kvas production analogous to the production of non-alcoholic beer, thanks to which the alcohol content in kvas was reduced to 0%.
