  1. I saw Top Gun, the first film, for the first time last year on a 10 hour flight. I never watched previously because I hate Tom Cruise and war movies. Yet that film is a masterpiece compared to the garbage today. The sequel was okay, but it was telling what the filmmakers left out that was not the case in the first film: patriotism. Not one single US flag nor mention of the US, and the film was about Navy fliers!

  3. Modern movies also suck because they run too long, they have 6 climaxes and 10 endings. Filmmakers are also gutless.
