@garylivingston9052 stop already, we love our country.

@garylivingston9052 Wow and you call yourself an American? Why not just leave the country then if you feel that badly about it?
1
@ good luck with that. You definitely don’t remember when we were once a great nation. You must really love Big Government/Establishment. Maybe you’re just another Socialist?

@hadtosaythis what another atheist?
1
@ evidently you are not old enough to know how great we were. Powerful yes, great no. We could be again, but that’s a long way off.

@garylivingston9052 That was when we were a great nation and that lasted for many decades. That’s why those who were born early in the 20th century were considered the Greatest Generation. Now our city’s have been trashed and are violent our towns no longer build much of anything and have been invaded in many places. Our schools look more like prisons than schools of the 1900’s. Drugs, gangs are rampant, homelessness has increased greatly. Our newest generation seems to have lost their way and lost God in the process. We do now have a shimmer of some hope that we can somewhat return to something closer to the greatness of what we once were, just maybe.

@ Sorry, making dollars off of overvalued stocks is not what makes a country great. You haven’t seen or been around long enough, that is fairly clear. No offense.

@garylivingston9052 one thing that we might agree on is the financial implications that are here and coming. Both Jammie Diamond and Warren Buffett have said what the writing on the wall is telling us. When the interest on our debt becomes our 2nd largest expenditure we should be praying.

@ yes, top earners had to pay higher tax rates because they actually paid off the national debts. It was backed in gold. Yes again, you could actually afford to buy a home. It’s not like they weren’t paying taxes just not at that rate around 20%. If you know history wars were expensive and WWI and WWII were very expensive and took a long time to pay for. Bernie Sanders? There wasn’t any welfare back then. The churches and people took care of others. Let’s not forget the New Deal was also expensive like the IRA deal which we don’t worry about paying back, wars either. So when the dollar collapses you can blame the government. I’m all for paying less taxes, but against the useless wars and for smaller government. Big government will be the death of America. Remember, inflation is a tax on the people if you didn’t know that. So, what exactly is your point? Really.

They’re shaking in their shoes. What are you talking about?
