  8. not really.... nuclear energy, for example, people always said like you say: it´s just a technology. but, once it is developed, it is gone... there is always a probability of bad people getting control to do bullshit. it is just a matter of time. so, yes, for me, I am a little bit sceptical about how far we went with technology as a whole. we simply went too far. anyway, I don't think AI or anything else can be more powerful than the whole of humanity. but of course, we need to get united around propositional/meaningful goals.
