Spilling BS again?

The 86 is designed to have some feel of a go-cart. Besides, how heavy is your 230i?

The MX-5 Cup say otherwise.

@gymsjimsgems - what Borla's saying here is that the A80 suffered the same criticism like the A90's currently experiencing: being ugly. It was also criticized for lacking the A70's pop-up headlights. Put it shortly: you're unwittingly repeating the same mistake like in the 90's.
2
@gymsjimsgems - I said, "in the 90's". Sure the A80 may look nice, but back then... ...yeah, you might want to do some history homework regarding that car's reception back in the day.
2
@gymsjimsgems - "There's no debate about that the 1993 (A80) supra was well loved no one hated it looks" And this is the part that you're wrong, I'm afraid (or understandbly, too young to know). Some dealer were still holding Supras because very few buyers came to get the cars. This is evident with U.S. sales numbers (just more than 11,000 units sold).

The car doesn't need a V8, and you would not reach 240. Plus, I doubt you would handle 800 horses.
2
"380hp"... and that ain't exactly a joke when you take a car through the twisties.
2
Not really.

@samiis1260 - actually Toyota's idea. Basically, they somewhat strong-armed Subaru into developing the car by buying part of their shares and using one of their cars (extensively altered) as a proof-of-concept.

Integras were based on the Civic, but not rebadged except for a very few cases.
1
Nah.
1
@2011joser - the horsepower in the BRZ is fine as-is.
1
And no limited-slip diff.
1
@Aikynbreusov - yeah, you're going to need it if you want to enjoy the horsepower and torque safely. Not expensive to find and fit.
1
@edwingonzalez9031 - as savagegeese said in his Supra review, using an existing chassis or platform would mean compromises.
1
Since 2016.
1
Except not really.
1
@idokwatcher2062 - is it, or there are people who focus too much on horsepower and not on any other factors?
1
@idokwatcher2062 - again, not really. Before anyone else forgets (I apologize), the 4-cylinder Supra was supposed to be for countries with road and displacement taxes (think Japan and some European countries). 228 hp couple with a curb weight of 2800-2850 lbs and and addressed torque mean that the car is no slouch.
1
@idokwatcher2062 - keep in mind that we've just got our hands on the FA24 engine, not the old FA20.
1
@ElPJSaapeee - keep in mind that the average joe doesn't read chassis codes, so take it easy.
1
@RabbiJesus - "It's a mall parking lot simulator" - which is not the case.
1
Not just yet.
