  1. "A sports car would be disastrous if powered by hybrid technology." - not quite. Repair costs aside, at the very least, you can still keep the sound of petrol burning when you have the free time and a track day at an available race circuit, all while keeping some of the neighbors happy. After all, there are some hybrid race cars that are still powered with the dino juice (or biofuel if available and suitable).
