Besides, you seem to forget that 80's McLaren F1 cars won championships using Honda powerplants. EDIT: And before I forget, Red Bull uses Honda engines and tech.

  26.  @서준김-c6q  - so you're saying, you're jealous? What you're saying isn't exactly the case? The Japanese are already made strides in many areas especially in motorsport: WEC, WRC, GT3 and GT4. They even have Super GT500 (the fastest GT category). South Korea, of course they already did in the WRC and TCR, but where are their supercar or sportscars? Why haven't they go GT3 racing or GT4?

  30.  @서준김-c6q  - not to be rude, but something tells me you aren't exactly a petrolhead. One thing is right is that Koreans aren't exactly car nuts. Japanese cars may not seem much, but they get the job done. And recently, the sports cars are in a sort of a second Renaissance (GR86, GR Supra, Mazda Miata, Nissan Fairlady Z). Besides, people are nagging about too much tech in their cars - which bring me to the next point. You focus too much on it, you are at risk of forgetting what driving a sports car feels like in their purer forms. I suggest looking for a race track outside of South Korea, take a few fast laps there, and savor the performance. Don't complain about the tech just yet.

But if savagegee's recent review of the IS500 is of any indication, the Japanese still has the edge in terms of putting some much-needed character into their cars. This is something, if I were to be honest, you seem to not pay attention to. Again, I suggest driving them (preferrably on a race track). You never know you might have missed something so easily from a car like purer driving.
