  1. Civic's a volume-seller car compared to the 86/BRZ, and besides, Southeast Asia (where I live) did not get the hatch for the current generation. The twins are more purpose-built.

  3. To be frank, unless you have a long enough and straight enough road to make the most of (applicable to tracks also), rarely would a driver of a high-performance car reach the top speed. Besides, weight is often the enemy of a car: head for a corner and the mass and higher center-of-gravity would be liabilities to an SUV.
