Still would have happened regardless.

Something tells me you haven't seen what happend when Moscow tried to invade Finland. Besides, what's KGB spy Putin doing near the 1st anniversary of his 3-day 'special military operation'?
5
Dude, that's debunked.
4
Nope. Putin had every chance to improve Russia, and he squandered them.
4
Not really.
4
Incorrect.
4
There's the thing called Chechnya.
3
incorrect
3
Much of the world's grain comes from Ukraine.
3
Russia's actions in Syria suggest otherwise.
2
If Putin and Yanukovych just admit that the Ukrainian people prefer closer ties with the EU, there never would have been a war.
2
@TomSeliman99 - and now it seems Russia's own blunders are giving China some second-thoughts.
2
All Putin had to do was not invade in the first place, understand that Ukraine wishes to lean closer with the EU, and that's it.
2
Not really. On the other hand, Russia's supposed might is questionable at best; can't even help Armenia when they asked a few times.
2
Incorrect.
2
Incorrect
2
Not quite.
2
@mrmellow1144 - or Russia didn't treat their former Warsaw Pact members well, and that was the factor that made a good portion of the eastern bloc join NATO.
2
Incorrect.
2
@dboyzer1 - maybe look at Russia as well, seems like neo-Nazism is way more rampant there.
2
@hiufgterde - again, incorrect.
2
It already was leaning somewhere closer to Nazism than Ukraine.
2
Incorrect.
2
@HistorydnClarity - not even close, unsurprisingly. Besides, you forget that the US came to play when they started nationhood in 1776, whereas Russia has been around for quite longer.
2
Australian Jackaroo - on the other hand, Moscow essentially didn't give Ukraine in WWII not much of a choice.
2
@angelicoctahedron3646 "Ukraine cancelling russian language." - incorrect. Read the Ukrainian constitution. "Ukraine has multiple objects named after Bandera name" - which you can thank Moscow for that.
2
@TomSeliman99 - not quite. Ukraine knows that sooner or later, Bakhmut would be captured. They want to be sure that any attempts to do so would be costly to Russia, making it a pyrrhic victory.
1
Yeah, nope...
1
Incorrect.
1
Not quite.
1
@TomSeliman99 - are they?
1
Not exactly.
1
@thereallifetold - incorrect.
1
@thereallifetold - Ukraine chose to move on and better themselves. Putin wasted that chance by launching the war.
1
@thereallifetold - seems you are lacking a bit of context behind the problems Ukraine faced between 2014 (or should I say, earlier) and 2022.
1
@thereallifetold - is it all his fault? Again, context.
1
Legally, it's still Ukrainian territory.
1
@limhan3209 - with due respect, this is already well-known: that part is internationally recognized as being Ukrainian land that Russia illegally annexed. We all know that.
1
@limhan3209 - honestly, just you. And besides, you're going into whataboutism territory while the video is focusing on Ukraine specifically. Russia has more than enough land and resources to grow, so why invade Ukraine in the first place when you can just simply leverage what you have?
1
Incorrect.
1
@angelicoctahedron3646 - Russia has become NATO's best PR salesman. Just ask the countries that were once part of the Warsaw Pact.
1
@antonptiza - that ain't propagamda. Ask the eastern European members and do research about them and their relationship with Russia (hint: it's turbulent even before NATO).
1
@bormorozov - (X) doubt
1
Satellite pics predating Feb. 24 say otherwise.
1
@mrmellow1144 - make concrete too hot for too long, and you get a whole host of problems for integrity.
1
Incorrect.
1
@SimpleFramesChannel - maybe Moscow shouldn't have treated its former Warsaw Pact and current CSTO members poorly.
1
Here's the thing: Yes, Ukraine is basically a testing ground for western weapons; they said it themselves. What you fail to mention is that they're testing them on the invading Russians trampling on a nation just striving to be better and more democratic.
1
Which is incorrect.
1
@roynichols4745 - pretty simple: ask the nations of the former Warsaw Pact. Did they wish to forge closer ties with Russia? Ask the Ukrainians. They wish to forge closer ties with the EU; even their Parliament approved this, which Yanukovych rejected. That's why the Euromaidan happend. And besides, why install missile bases when you have submarines and aircraft to do the job? And for that last sentence, you can thank Moscow for that.
1
@roynichols4745 - I think you need to a do a bit more research on the Baltics and why they chose to go to NATO. Moscow pushed them to go there, and Ukraine would do the same.
1
Which is thoroughly debunked?
1
@3446 - same with Russia and China.
1
@thereallifetold - incorrect.
1
Incorrect.
1
Stopping weapons shipments to Ukraine won't stop the war or Russia's ambitions either.
1
@HistorydnClarity For point 1, aren't you forgetting about the Warsaw Pact and how the Soviets treated their member-states? And what about Armenia when they asked for help? Same can be said for Russia for point 2.
1
@nixiontm - incorrect.
1
You might want to do some research regarding NATO's eastern expansion. This, in many ways, is self-inflicting on Moscow's part.
1
Not really.
1
"If there is no NATO there is no WAR." Incorrect.
1
Not quite. By not treating the nations of the former Warsaw Pact well enough, this made them have very good reasons to go to NATO. What Russia's doing right now by invading is even way more stupid than necessary. Now Finland and Sweeden are heading in the same direction like much of eastern Europe. This is a disaster, much of which being of Moscow's own making.
1
@amineay9667 - doesn't exactly make sense when submarines exists.
1
So, not really the case.
1
@mrnoodle1906 - so, not exactly.
1
@jonyurad - which is debunked?
1
Russia does the same.
1
The cost of trying to restore an old empire.
1
Incorrect. At worst, misleading whataboutism.
1
@abdullahalfaruk1449 - again, whataboutism.
1
@abdullahalfaruk1449 - not really in a bubble. At the very least, people outside of Russia are a little more open-minded and have more mental strength to confront the dark side. But this video is about Ukraine, first and foremost.
1
@jenghiskhan69 - Russia uses civilian buildings as well.
1
@Muhammad_Ahmad_ - one problem: there's a thing called the Warsaw Pact.
