  4.  @titomatias1576  - doesn't exactly work that way. For one, Toyota specifically asked for a straight-6. I suggest comparing the advantages and disadvantages of both that engine and V-type configurations. As for going with the Nissan route, remember the current Z uses a modified version of the previous 370 chassis, which compromised its performance in some metrics. On the other hand, Toyota and BMW jointly developed a more-purpose-built platform just for the Supra and Z4. And besides, Nissan doesn't exactly have the resources.

  9. BMW isn't even using their Z4 to race with, whereas the GR Supra gets a GT4 Evo version this year after a fruitful 2022 with its win in the DTM Trophy. Besides, even the CEO of Toyota drove the car during the 2019 24 Hours of the Nurburgring.
