  2. Except, "everyone" (and by that, I mean, a few or several fans) seems to forget that the last time Toyota made their own Supra, they didn't buy a lot and, by some, actually hated it back when it was new. Didn't help that Japan's economy in the 90's went almost bust.

  7. The A80 Supra is based on a Soarer. Besides, it wasn't even popular at first and didn't get enough sales compared to the A70 model; it also didn't help that Japan's economy in the 90's almost went bust.

  10. Previous Supra's don't use bespoke engines (they're shared with other Toyota and Lexus models). Besides, that could increase the price to a point where less people could afford it.
