  7.  @xMoac  - here's the thing: yes, the west has its flaws. But what Russia doesn't understand is that they have the capacity and strength to reflect on their actions and do some self-improvement. It wasn't exactly a coup that started the war, it was Putin unwilling to admit that Ukraine just wants to improve itself for the better. Besides, Russia has the land and resources to become rich properly (until that chance was squandered by going to Ukraine).

  8. ​​ @xMoac  - something tells us what you wrote ain't the case. Besides unlike the Cuban Missile Crisis, Russia and the US have strategic bombers and SLBM-equipped submarines that can operate pretty much go anywhere.
