Oh, there's also the Leichttraktor and Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. And there's the part that Berlin was echoing pro-Soviet propaganda while the war progressed.

"ur 31 friends in western europe and northern europe and UK didnt couldnt even do a thing and all fell like dominoes." - while on the subject of WWII, said friends in western and northern Europe stopped the German advance on the western front, stopped the German advance on the North Africa front, curbed the U-boat menace in the Atlantic threating allied shipping (and that includes some of Lend-lease heading to Russia), launched bombing raids on German factories, air fields, rail lines, among other things and established air superiority over mainland Europe by 1945, launched an invasion into said mainland via D-Day that stretched the Germans very thin and lead them to their defeat. Even some prominent Soviet officials--supposedly including Stalin himself--pointed out the importance of the western allies during the war.

  49. "They didn't" - they did. Finland wasn't able to fully retake their captured territories, but they remained independent. As for the Soviets, they weren't able to win either - especially considering that they established the now-botched Finnish Democratic Republic for the purpose of managing Helsinki.
