  7.  @Corvolet5  - not this case. What I'm pointing out here is that a lot of people aren't exactly ready to handle speeds in excess of the aforementioned 100 mph. Even though I regularly (and barely) exceed that during track driving, it's still not without risks. And besides, driving on public roads is usally restricted by the 5-0 and other local laws.

  9.  @ivanespinoza8538  - not exactly. Toyota co-developed the chassis, checked and revised the engine, tuned the suspension, and they even have the race data to help with further improvements. Hell, even Akio went the extra mile by testing and racing the car himself.

  28.  @Reno420alex  - does a West Racing Cars VITA-01 qualify even though the engine on the car I rented is a very slightly-tuned one from a subcompact econobox? I heard that one beat a Mustang lap-wise. Besides, your faster cars tend to have quite a substantial amount of weight. I wouldn't suggest dismissing the Miata yet.

  39. I don't think that's the case here. Compared to the Z4, the Supra has been racing for quite some time since 2018 - getting a lot of useful race data to help improve the car in the near future. The Supra's last high-profile race was this year's 24 Hours of Nürburgring, and it finished 3rd.
