  6.  @Corvolet5  - not this case. What I'm pointing out here is that a lot of people aren't exactly ready to handle speeds in excess of the aforementioned 100 mph. Even though I regularly (and barely) exceed that during track driving, it's still not without risks. And besides, driving on public roads is usally restricted by the 5-0 and other local laws.

On the second part, this suggests you honestly don't understand the entire point of the car. I heard that one beat a Mustang lap-wise. Besides, your faster cars tend to have quite a substantial amount of weight. I wouldn't suggest dismissing the Miata yet.
