@ivanespinoza8538 - not exactly. Toyota co-developed the chassis, checked and revised the engine, tuned the suspension, and they even have the race data to help with further improvements. Hell, even Akio went the extra mile by testing and racing the car himself.

Not just yet.

@davissilvestrs1996 - are you sure about that? www.speedhunters.com/2019/07/toyota-n24-supra-entry-matter/

About that... https://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/c2y63k/the_toyota_supras_center_of_gravity_is_not_lower/

Car and Driver's method has quite a lot of flaws, from what I've read. https://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/c2y63k/the_toyota_supras_center_of_gravity_is_not_lower/

Yeah, C&D's method isn't exactly reliable. Rule of thumb: manufacturers would have more hardware to determine the COG. https://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/c2y63k/the_toyota_supras_center_of_gravity_is_not_lower/

Nope. Car and Driver's method is outdated. https://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/c2y63k/the_toyota_supras_center_of_gravity_is_not_lower/

Except it's really not. The performance is too high to be one.

Yeah, their method isn't exactly reliable. https://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/c2y63k/the_toyota_supras_center_of_gravity_is_not_lower/

C&D's report is kinda sketchy at best. https://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/c2y63k/the_toyota_supras_center_of_gravity_is_not_lower/

I don't think that's the case here. Compared to the Z4, the Supra has been racing for quite some time since 2018 - getting a lot of useful race data to help improve the car in the near future. The Supra's last high-profile race was this year's 24 Hours of Nürburgring, and it finished 3rd.
