It's good to go after the obvious propaganda like this ancient tank example, but there is a second strain of propaganda that I see a lot of tiktok girls rope young men into: wherein they say that we in the west are the loathsome oppressors and that there is a global axis of resistance against the west to free us from our elitist masters. The implied promise of this propaganda is that if we overthrow the capitalist private property based economic system that has raised more people out of poverty than any other force in history, then the planet will heal, you'll get a job where you're not alienated from the fruits of your labor and the tiktok girl will finally sleep with you. This is of course a lie, because the global elites don't have "wealth" hoarded in a vault somewhere but instead the global elites rely on a house of cards made of debt and rehypothecation. The tough part about fighting the anticapitalist propaganda is that people who aren't business owners never really experience capitalism, and our education system is designed to produce workers rather than owners.
