  2. In Universe, a Turbolaser barrage from a star ship or a rebel Golan Laser Battery can hit as hard without collateral damage, so you have to aim but it is safer for your troops.

  5. Walkers are only useful if they are Clone Wars-era AT-TE types that can scale sheer cliffs and jump over obstacles, but were retired due to Imperial budget cuts. In Star Wars lore they use AT-ATs because making droids with legs is as easy as making wheels for us. Actually, wheels aren’t very common in Star Wars, why is that?
