When you get your Air Defense Radar from Temu.

@LegerRon it’s not time for ebola yet. There was a 2022–2023 Uganda Ebola outbreak during covid and it was squashed, because you have to really want a pandemic to spread for it to spread. Diseases are hard to fan from a little outbreak into a raging pandemic.

@Thrainite keymod had the same idea: if you put two hooks into an oval shape and spring load them to get as far away from each other as possible the hooks will align with the long axis of the oval. Much more reliable than trying to torque a clamp onto a pic rail’s dovetail shape.

@10speed4 who pays the companies that pay the politicians?
7
@sethb3090 the XM7 spear already uses both regular training ammo and premium high pressure ammo.

I love the tactical tuna

It’s conflict between nuclear powers, we have the nuclear front line at home.
4
The little ovals did the same thing that Keymod did but it did it in plastic rather than laser cut metal.

Plus are the locals allowed to drink in their religion?

Add a folding stock and you have the AR-18

This means Syria now knows what Israel’s airforce radar signature is

1:07 myanmar is notable also for the extensive use of the FGC-9 3d printed gun in the hands of rebels. RIP Jstark

Jesus Christ this is The Forever Winter irl

15:38 the Army also adopted the APC9K as the Sub Compact Weapon. I guess that if trench warfare broke out they'd just issue armor piercing steel core 9mm and requalify everyone on these submachine guns initially adopted for VIP and close asset protection. And NATO has standardized the 5.7mm somewhere, but that cartridge won't kill a Light Unmanned Ground Vehicle with any decent armor package.
2
@anotherbacklog if the XM8 got adopted as the M8 a great fortune would be made making adaptors to attach rails to the hk proprietary ovals.

0:20 “complimentary” weapons systems as in they come free if you order the war plan today?

Tod’s Workshop did a video a month ago about how to use saltpetre and arsenic to make a historically accurate fire-arrow or fire trebuchet projectile that burns underwater and puts out noxious smoke. This week, the IDF put out a video of using a fire trebuchet and fire arrows to defoliate the Israel/Lebanon border- Ryan McBeth thinks the video is legit because the IDF soldiers have fire extinguishers on standby. The more things change the more they stay the same.

With enough AI support, maybe one day they will “know” everyone. They already need to track the behaviour of a billion people within their borders.

After doing the Songun “military-first” economic policy since 1994, if the North Koreans aren’t ready for open conflict by now they never will be.
1
6:47 total war is impressive in the short term, but it kills innovation - especially when the basic research is neglected and then Putin goes on a rampage accusing his best hypersonic glide vehicle designers of being spies
1
7:56 lol they can’t even do what Israel did to Hezbollah on a fraction of the budget
1
When Nukes are in Cuba once more. Why are we speedrunning the 20th century again?
1
@acca9169 if Syria wanted money they could sell the radar recordings

When are we getting the integrated ARC clone trooper helmet which handles targeting, situational awareness and cbrn protection from Star Wars?

And yet China has 95% basic healthcare coverage

It doesn’t have to be invulnerable. It just has to be deadly.

Later there will be the Lightweight Machine Gun (Heavy) which will be a belt fed weapon that weighs 6lbs empty and fires .50 with all the recoil going into your shoulder.

17:51 if the pentagon has your project on a strict weight limit, you “equip for but not with” to cheat the weigh in, like a boxer before a prize fight.

3:50 Cappy, to make it all make sense look at the Captagon trade and realize that Captagon is the new opium, and Syria is the new Secret War like Laos. Laos was the gateway of south east asia, and Syria is the gateway of the middle east. After the CIA has had a few tries at this kind of operation, they will one day become as good as the old British Crown Agents Office and the old British Foreign Office of colonial days gone by.

Are we gonna talk about the Thales/Lithgow arms F90 austeyr?

Arms exports finally make the Erdogan economic policy of endless money printing make sense: he’s making his engineers essentially work for free and selling the drones and jets for hard currency overseas

These days everyone is worried about their Boeing falling apart mid-flight on its own.

7:05 the term "quartermaster" used to come from a Redcoat British Empire soldier tasked with going into towns and seizing houses without compensation to quarter troops. This was considered one of the "Intolerable Acts" that kicked off the American War of Independence and was later outlawed in America under the Third Amendment of the United States Constitution. Would North Korea and Russia stoop so low as to not use easily spotted barracks, but instead covertly quarter troops in civilian housing in a warzone?

5:20 Italy and the Pacific rn 👀

The last time the Germans sent 50,000 troops anywhere shit got real

2:57 the “bugs” crawling over the paper freaked me out
1
@-aepo- i thought it was an arty way to show “migrants” sneaking from right to left
1
2:44 I think you are right the "anti-body armor" concept and "mountain top to mountain top" concepts are cover stories. The real goal is to be able to kill Light Unmanned Ground Vehicles which everyone is buying now. The USMC is responding differently - they give 5.56 rifles to each Marine, but increased the number of 40mm launchers and created a new billet for a drone operator called the "Squad Systems Operator" to counter Small Unmanned Systems.

9:35 how long before these $15 spicy bois end up on the black market and pvt snuffy miraculously pays off his loan on his brand new Mustang in less than three months?

So North Korea fires nukes in defense of Moscow?

The constitution allows the issuance of Letters of Marque, which were famously used in 2001 to allow private contractors to hunt Bin Laden.

Now Russia had had 2 Kursk Disasters, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
