  4.  @nfuryboss  china spent a lot of money building Belt and Road rail lines and ports that can let them go around the canals, but will these agreements to refuel be honored? If belt and road doesn't work they might need to go kinetic from their chinese naval base in djibouti

  5.  @FreedomFox1  if the big four companies don't want to touch the canal, then whoever is left is too small to carry the $1T per year in trade that China expects. That's globalization for you. The only thing keeping price inflation and shortages at bay is that over the last three years the world learned to stop doing JIT logistics.
