Also, are we gonna talk about how Ukranian drones can hold strategic targets deep inside Russia at risk? Imagine if one of our nuclear bombers got damaged by a drone?

So will the Saudis and the Indians break with the West and join the so called "Fair World Order"?

@SianaGearz If I was nuclear armed and my nuclear triad was at risk, game theory tells me that I should use it or lose it.

@davidshanahan5134 didn't we attack a country, hang their leader, and then spend 20 years searching for weapons of mass destruction that we never found? Or attack another country, stay there for 20 years and eventually shoot the guy we were looking for in a different country?

@watchthe1369 that is sort of the point of a nuclear weapon. China has underground factories honeycombing Beijing and Shenzen. Japan has vertical farming independent of outside air. Taiwan stores its treasures under the mountain. America has the continuity of government plan. The vast majority of the human race will die as a monument to your will to power, and you get to emerge in a hundred years wearing a lead-lined suit knowing that the last people who hit you won't be doing that again anytime soon. This is reality. If we believe for a moment that Putin doesn't have the means or the balls to carry out his threat, then we could destroy his inferior land forces and capture all his mineral wealth.

@davidshanahan5134 empires invade places. It's called the great game. But if an empire is dying, it is prone to lashing out with disproportionate force. Just ask any of the relatives of the people who flew two airplanes into our twin towers if our response was sunshine and rainbows.

@davidshanahan5134 America invaded the middle east to hold a strategic chokepoint on the silk road and bend the surrounding countries to our will. Russia (according to Peter Zeihan's Russian Grab Theory) is trying to control the chokepoints that allow access to the Russian plains. The propaganda causes for the wars conceal their geostrategic significance. They are analogous, and in the 1800s there were two Afghan wars and a Crimean war for the same reasons.

@SianaGearz the world is dedollarizing - a process starting with the George HW Bush losing to Bill Clinton. That America is losing the Rules Based International Order (or its overseas imperial posessions) is not my idea, you can find its latest iteration in Peter Zeihan's new book "The End of the World is Just the Beginning"
