  2. Zeihan did the Israel v Hamas video three days ago. He will probably update once the USS Gerald R Ford arrives in theater and things become more clear. Iraq teamed up with Iran, Oman and Yemen to threatened to target U.S. interests with missiles and drones if Washington intervenes to support Israel in its conflict with Hamas in Gaza. This could potentially cut oil exports out of the gulf, choking china and causing shortages and crippling inflation.

  3.  @devalapar7878  here "US interests" would be the oil tankers leaving the gulf via the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the Strait of Hormuz, which is 88% of all the oil leaving the gulf and is mostly sold to china that makes everything we buy. The resulting shortages would cause double digit inflation.
