@goatboymagic9352 since even the VHP has trained thousands of dalit temple priests and since the BJP is trying to reform hindu society, the DMK's demands wont cause the outrahe they intend among hindus. Meanwhile applying the same logic, women should also be allowed to do puja, become imams in mosques and pastors in churches. Any equal application of UCC will benefit hindus more than any abrahamic religion. It is to be noted however that UCC is about individual rights of marriage and inheritance , not the management of religious institutions. Seperate legislation is needed to allow women to become imams and pastors. Same legislation should also free hindu temples from government control and disslove or limit the powers of waqf boards. UCC will already limit powet of waqf boards but a broader legislation is needed to further this process ...

@oofroogoo and tell me why those who are neither sunni nor shia womt go to heaven? Is allah such a jelous god that he permits only those who grovel before him to enter heaven? From islamic texts it seems that allah doesnt mind if a person has slaves or has sex with 9 year old, allah will still permit that persons entry into heaven. Can you call such a thing god and worship it?
